STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS

This semester I have the opportunity to take “Writing II” as a course. I would like to learn
and review topics about grammar and essay structure. I would like to describe some reasons I

have for taking “Writing II.” First, I am taking this course because I want to improve my
writing. Also, because I would like to learn more grammar to can make my paragraphs and

essays understandable for readers.

This course will contribute to my future professional development in many ways. For
example, this course will give me the opportunity to improve my writing skill. So, I can write

paragraphs and essays correctly. I will know about the correct structure about it, and make it

more comprehensively.
I consider I can use some strategies to contribute to attain the learning outcomes in

“Writing II.” Firstly, I will study some grammar strategies to improve my writing, and I will
be carful in the essay and paragraph structure. Furthermore, I will look for information and be

aware about what I am going to write.
To conclude, I would like to say that “Writing II” is an important and fundamental course

which is going to help me in my development and improving to my future as an English

teacher.
