“That’s a brilliant idea! I’ll go and ask.” Keira took Rosie into the corner shop and came out a minute later, smiling. “Mrs Rinberg says that’s fine! She was busy with lots of customers but she said she’ll put the note in the window as soon as things are quieter.”
Bea sighed with relief. “Thanks! Well, I’d better get back to the palace.”
“You’d better take these then.” Keira handed her friend the shopping bag with the sweets and the popcorn.
“Wow, we’ve been so busy that I’d almost forgotten about our sleepover!” Bea grinned. “I’m going to make a little house for Goldie in the garden. I’ll show it you when you come over at teatime.” She pulled Rosie’s dog treat out of the bag. “You’d better take this, though. Rosie might want it.”
