At the Aqueduct
The long river Tiber runs through Rome. Large structures called aqueducts are built by workers so water from
the Tiber can be taken to homes and used for washing, cooking and drinking by the Roman people.
Children enjoy playing and swimming in the river, and animals drink there too. Watch out for those cows!
