1.A.8 Resources and Education
POLICY:
It is the policy of the Light of Truth Center, Inc. to provide adequate and continuous training to staff and volunteers to stay current in the field. The Light of Truth Center, Inc. will provide the resources necessary to perform all tasks with excellence. The Light of Truth Center will use evidenced based practices in all phases of operations. It is the policy of the Light of Truth Center, Inc. to following an annual training schedule, a semi-annual, quarterly, monthly and on-going training per schedule “C”.
PROCEDURES:
1. Staff and volunteers maintain all required training to maintain credentials.
2. Staff and volunteers complete all required core competency trainings both in-house and on line.
3. Staff and volunteers will complete suggested trainings when scheduled per the training schedule.
4. The board of directors completes yearly reviews of the required annual documents.
5. All trainings are scheduled per Carf Standards Appendix C.
