Grrrrand Opening Day
Drop in and join in the celebrations at Cooper Gallery and welcome some of literature’s most famous bears including Rupert and Winnie-the-Pooh. Meet the Bear & The Piano, listen to storytelling in the glade or bring along your own bear for a picnic by booking onto the Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
Explore the interactives by following the paw prints into the wonderful world of Bears! and see what you uncover.
First 25 children into the exhibition will receive a goodie bag.

‘If you go down to the Cooper today, you’re sure of a big surprise...’
Bring your favourite cuddly to our Bear–tastic Teddy Bears’ Picnic and join in the celebrations of the opening of our wonderful Bears! Exhibition in the garden.
Choose from either tuna, ham, cheese or egg mayo sandwich in your Bear themed picnic box, sit on a rug, be entertained and have fun meeting new friends.
