What will I learn?
You will learn about the important elements
of enterprise in the world of business. This will range from understanding marketing and finance to focusing on areas that include retail and customer service environments. You will also look at the ownership and structures
of different businesses and decide on the best option for you when planning your own business start-up. As part of your study programme you will also study Maths and/or English.
How will I be assessed?
Coursework is set continually throughout the year so you will know how you are progressing at all times. There are also two external examinations.
What enrichment can I look forward to?
You will have access to guest speaker presentations, trips, work experience, volunteering and take part in fundraising.
What progression is there?
Successful completion of the course can lead to progression on to a Level 3 course at Runshaw such as Level 3 Business, an Apprenticeship, or employment.
