22 Norfolk Row, Sheffield, S1 2PA
Tucked away between the city centre’s Fargate and Tudor Square, this independent café offers delicious light breakfasts, brunches, lunches and cakes. Step into its higgledy-piggledy floorplan and enjoy something inventive and fresh while admiring the natural light and reclaimed décor.

School Lane, Hathersage,
Hope Valley, S32 1BZ
A traditional pub and B&B tucked away in an idyllic location, The Scotsman’s Pack serves up a menu of to-die-for takes on the usual pub fare, including an extensive dessert menu. Their small patio next to a babbling brook is a great spot for a post-Peaks beer away from the tourist crowds, too.

The Moor, Sheffield, S1 4PF
A cinema experience like no other – if you’ve not visited yet you’re missing out. Guests can enjoy reclining velvet armchairs and personal drinks tables in every screen and, as well as the latest blockbusters, the programme includes many live theatre, music and ballet broadcasts.

Church, 4a Rutland Way, Sheffield, S3 8DG
The temptingly named “saints and sinners” menu at Make No Bones is 100% vegan and 100% delicious. Don’t be confused by mentions of duck, maple bacon, and pulled pork – every dish here tastes just as good as the real thing with none of the ethical conundrums.
