THE SCOTSMAN’S PACK
School Lane, Hathersage,
Hope Valley, S32 1BZ www.scotsmanspackcountryinn.co.uk
A traditional pub and B&B tucked away in an idyllic location, The Scotsman’s Pack serves up a menu of to-die-for takes on the usual pub fare, including an extensive dessert menu. Their small patio next to a babbling brook is a great spot for a post-Peaks beer away from the tourist crowds, too.

MAKE NO BONES
Church, 4a Rutland Way, Sheffield, S3 8DG www.templeof.fun/pages/eat
The temptingly named “saints and sinners” menu at Make No Bones is 100% vegan and 100% delicious. Don’t be confused by mentions of duck, maple bacon, and pulled pork – every dish here tastes just as good as the real thing with none of the ethical conundrums.
