The best advice I have ever received is to give 100% in all that I do. This simple commitment to do my very best is how I approach each and every day. I love the quote by Angela Bassett that says, "Don't settle for average, bring your best to the moment."

The most valuable lesson I have learned is to be kind to everyone. Just as the golden rule says, treat others as you would like to be treated. This is crucial for our generation. We need to encourage each other and build each other up and not tear one another down. You never know what others are going through or dealing with at any given moment. Kindness is truly contagious and it costs nothing.

My most valued role model is definitely my dance teacher, Ms. Elizabeth. She has taught me how to handle adversity, celebrate success, and lead by example. She has truly played and integral role in molding me into the person I am today.
