What has been your involvement with your platform?
As a huge Agricultural Advocate, I help educate and teach others about the agricultural industry. One highlight is helping in the Children’s Barnyard at the Williamson County Fair every year. I help over 20 hours just in the Children’s Barnyard alone. I get to teach kids and their parents where their food and other products come from. Seeing the kids' eyes light up as they get to pet the baby goats or baby rabbits is the most heartwarming thing ever.
What inspired you to first become involved in your platform?
Living on a small farm I grew up around agriculture. What really inspired me was in middle school. I was at the fair and heard some adults calling a brown cow a chocolate milk cow. I thought they were kidding until an older friend of mine asked them and they were serious. That instance really opened my eyes and made me want to bring awareness and educate others about agriculture.
If you are selected as the winner, how would you mobilize and market your platform nationally?
As Miss Iris Tennessee Teen, I would make sure to make YouTube videos and use social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc. to spread my platform nationally.
How would you utilize social media in order to positively further your position as a titleholder if you are selected as the winner?
I would use social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. to positively promote this system and my title. The Pageant world in the past has had a very negative connotation to it. I feel that spreading information on various platforms such as the ones I mention helps educate people of all ages and will help them understand the amazing world of pageantry.
