The best advice I have ever received was from my mom. She told me you can not dwell on the past because you might miss something exciting in the future.

One of the most unexpected moments happen my freshman year of high school. I was running for Tennessee 4-H State Council and was competing for the position of Speaker of the House. I wanted that position very badly but was not for sure if I would receive it. I was the newbie and did not know many people there. When it came for the announcement of the new Speaker of the House, I for sure that they were not going to say my name. When I heard my name announced, I was truly shocked and very excited.

One of my greatest accomplishments was when I was named Nashville’s Doing Good Volunteer of the Month. I was very honored to be recognized for my service in agricultural advocacy. I was also featured in a podcast talking about my service and work in this field.
