What started out as four friends hobby-brewing small batches in the basement quickly evolved into the current operation of large, shiny vats visible to all who visit Goat Island Brewing. With additional popular brews, like Blood Orange and Oktoberfest, Cullman’s best kept secret could no longer be kept and Goat Island’s craft beer brews spread quickly throughout Alabama, the Florida panhandle, and parts of Georgia.
A unique tale of fate, friendship, history, and the love of beer is quite the goat story, the moral of which might be summed up as “Life’s too short to drink baaaad beer.”
