contest is surely one of the favorite events and is open to all pets. We’ve seen a tortoise in a sombrero and a chicken in a tutu! It’s so much fun to see
all the different animals dressed up for the show and ready to go! Then, to top it all off, there is a
pet parade where these guys and gals get to walk through the festival and strut their stuff! The costume contest and parade require no fee. All you need is a little time, a cute costume for your pet, and some fine walking skills.
The Wiener Dog Race is October 1st this year. If you are a proud owner of one of these little dogs and want to let them show off their speed, just mark your calendars and sign up to join the fun. It is best to preregister for the grand event to ensure a spot, but registration will be available day of as well. Just keep an eye out on the Cullman Oktoberfest

You certainly don’t have to be a pet owner to enjoy this historical event! If you’re not the proud owner of a Wiener Dog, come on out to Oktoberfest and join in the fun of watching these sassy little dogs show out like they never have before. It’s not a guarantee that these pups will run a perfect race, but it is guaranteed entertainment and a great time.
