Abstract
Student satisfaction plays a crucial role for the success of a university. According to Kotter (2009),
satisfaction is a person’s feeling of pleasure or disappointment resulting from comparing a product
perceived performance or outcomes in relation to his or her expectations. Satisfaction survey is a
management information system that continuously captures the voice of the students through the
assessment of performance from the students’ point of view (Mehdipour, 2013). Considering the
importance of students’ satisfaction in the university, it is imperative for the Isabela State University
to find out the level of satisfaction of the students on the different services of ISU offers.

Abstract
The Campus Journalism Act of 1991, otherwise known as Republic Act No. 7079, declared the
policy of the state to uphold and protect the freedom of the press even at the campus level and to
promote the development and growth of campus journalism as means of strengthening ethical
values, encouraging critical and creative thinking and developing moral character and personal
discipline of the Filipino youth. The school publication being one of the components of student
services provides an opportunity for freedom of expression for the students. This promotes the free
growth of the individual. Awareness, therefore of the campus journalism act of 1991, is very vital in
achieving the goals not only of the publication but also the act itself. Likewise readers of the school
paper should be aware on the ins and outs of the act. Hence, there is still a need to come up with
the satisfaction rate of the school paper readers to the outputs of the editorial board and staff.
