Margaret only has to carry the red bag from the red bin and place it in the steric-cycle bin which is monitored by SCL
for compliance. Margaret will not be putting things in the red bag that is done by the staff.
She needs to be mindful to be careful as she carry’s them not to harm herself. She is not handling SHARPS. This is really no different than emptying the trash except it goes into a different kind of container which is only located a short distance from the exam rooms.
What other concerns might you have?
