general information — stock calendars
This information applies unless otherwise indicated.
THE ORDER
ABSOLUTE MINIMUM: The absolute minimum quantity is at least one half of minimum listed in the catalog unless otherwise specified. (Absolute minimums apply for each change of copy.)
LESS THAN MINIMUM: Straight copy ads: $50.00(g) unless otherwise specified. (Less than minimum charge will be applied to each change of copy if that change of copy is less than the catalog listed minimum.)
MIXED ORDERS, COMBINED QUANTITY PRICES: Orders for two or more different styles from the same customer must be handled as individual orders unless otherwise specified.
OVERRUNS AND UNDERRUNS: We reserve the right to deliver an overrun or underrun of up to 10%. The order will be billed according to the exact quantity shipped.
OPTIONAL PACKAGING: Plain or gift envelopes shipped bulk do not increase production time. Calendars inserted into envelopes, polybags, tubes, pull string wrappers or flat mailers add 1 day to standard production time.
AD COPY
Price includes black, straight copy imprint on the ad panel. For any one color other than black, charge $18.00(g) (unless otherwise noted). If using a non-standard color, add additional $30.00(g). No charge for logos if supplied as vector art and printed in the same color as the rest of the ad. For 4-color process imprint, add $.10(g) per calendar. No set up charge.
Dept. will assist account executive with personalization details.
CHANGES TO ORIGINAL LIST: Names may be added or deleted from the original list before the order is in production at no extra charge. A $18.75(g) set-up charge per order, plus the cost of the calendar and personalization, will be accessed on any changes to the personalization list after the order has been entered into production. Once the order is printed, it is not subject to increase or change.
RESTRICTIONS TO PERSONALIZATION: The name and all other copy must be the same on all months of each individual calendar. All titles (Dr., Rev., etc.) will be abbreviated. The name is limited to one line. Black (only) imprint will be used on the ad message, lead-in line, and name. The height of personalization name letters will be as sampled unless otherwise specified. If special height is desired the Pre-Sales Dept. will assist account executive with a quote. Personalized names will be set in all caps. The ad copy portion will be set in 1, 2 or 3 lines using our best judgement, unless otherwise specified. The customer may use their own special type and logo, however the customer must supply electronic art file with all fonts converted to outlines.
STANDARD LEAD-IN LINES: Choose a standard lead-in line with no extra charge:
a) Created Especially For... b) For the Office Of...
c) To a Good Sportsman...
CHANGE OF COPY: For a change of the straight copy portion of an ad on the same order, charge $15.00(g) for each change of the original copy, unless otherwise indicated. (Example: Where the customer has offices at different locations and wants the same logo but different addresses for each office). (Absolute minimum and less than minimum charges apply to each change of copy.)
EXTRA COPY: The maximum number of lines of copy is five, unless specified otherwise. A line of copy is figured whether it is a full line of type, one word or one letter. Additional lines are $3.00(g) each.
SPECIAL ARTWORK
CUSTOMER SUPPLIED IMAGES: Customer photographs can be printed directly on calendars either in the ad copy area or instead of a Select-A-Scene. Customer must provide image at 300 dpi at 100% of size in jpg, tiff or eps formats. Set-up charge for up to a 4-color photograph is $75.00(g) per photo. For an exact reorder using the same photo there will be no extra charge.
SPECIAL COPY: Special copy is non-stock typefaces, simple trademarks or logos, touch-ups of poor quality art and outline or drop shadow lettering. Minimum special copy charge is $40.00(g) per hour. First 30 minutes are free. If this is not sufficient to cover the desired work, you will be contacted with additional charges before the order is processed.
PERSONALIZATION
Personalization only available on select calendars. Refer to individual items. Add 1 day to standard production time. Orders will not be produced until a complete Excel spreadsheet list is received. Faxed or hard copy lists are NOT acceptable. Lists will not be proofread; therefore we cannot be responsible for errors. Supply names exactly as you want them to appear. The Pre-Sales

If a non-standard lead-in is desired add a $9.50(g) set up charge.
PERSONALIZATION AD SET-UP:
PROOFS OF AD COPY PANEL ONLY: Unless otherwise indicated, PROOFS OF AD COPY
e-mailed or faxed proofs are free of charge. Mailed paper proofs are $10.00(g) each. Virtual proofs (calendar and ad) $25.00(g).
ACTUAL SAMPLE PROOFS: An actual sample proof is available for a small fee. The Pre-Sales Dept. will assist account executive in acquiring a sample when requested. Applicable art charges will also be charged. A proof can not be made until the artwork is completed. If alterations and another proof are desired, then another proof charge and any applicable art charges will be charged. Cancelled proofs will be billed. All proofs must be returned to customer service within 45 days or a $50.00 charge, in addition to the proof charge and all applicable art charges.
DROP SHIPMENTS: Available at $10.00(g) per each destination SHIPPING
within the U.S. (first 20 drop shipments are free, charges for all drops over 20 will be included in shipping and handling on the invoice). All other locations, charge $20.00(g) per destination.
SPLIT SHIPMENTS: Split shipments on total volumes of more than $300 are available at $12.50(g) per each additional shipment. All releases must be of at least $150 and be shipped within one year of the date that the original order was shipped.
