Nebulizing Diffuser
This breaks down the essential oil into tiny particles
through high pressure. This method does not alter the
chemical composition or the scent. Great for: close
proximity diffusing to a targeted area with a much higher
density of essential oils.
Ultrasonic Diffuser (most popular)
Uses water and a small piezo chip to create vibrations
and electric pressure which causes the essential oil to
break up into tiny micro particles. Great for: drier
climates, larger rooms and lots of style choices.
Heat Diffuser
Sometimes used with water or oil, this method heats the
essential oil which gradually evaporates into the air. This
is probably the least popular method as heating them
can cause changes to the chemical constituents of the
oils. Great for: it's economical use of oils.
Evaporative Diffuser
Uses air flow to disperse the essential oil scent.
Typically uses a fan to blow air through a filter which is
where the essential oil is placed. Great for: travel or cars.
