On April 6, 2024, the Nur Shrine Mini Choppers held their 20 Anniversary celebration and we
honored four of our original members; D. Edward Wright, PP, Clayton “Buddy” Hewes, PP,
Robert ‘Skeeter’ Illingsworth, PP and John Valente. The evening mc was John Marinucci, PGM
with a grand entrance and presentation of our country's colors. A fine meal was had by all that was
prepared by the members of the Pirate Unit and served by the young men of the Delaware
DeMolay. The dinner was followed by an ice cream truck for dessert. The festivities continued
with music, dancing and fellowship throughout the night.

Thank you to everyone who attended the evening, especially the original members, the Pirate unit,
the Delaware DeMolay, Robin Ventura, Al Kitts and the committee who put everything together
to make it an enjoyable evening.

The Mini Choppers are once again proud to be able to donate to this year's Fin for
Love event to be held at the Camden Aquarium. It is through the hard work of our
members and their incredible fundraising efforts that we are capable of making this

donation again this year. It is with the hope that with continued support from the
Nur Shrine and its members, we can continue to support Shriners Hospital for
Children. “We ride so they can walk”
