Course and Examination Requirements
            The requirement for entering the Premedical Program

            Pre-medical Program


               1.  High School Diploma
               2.  High School Transcript
                       a.  USA:  SAT scores 1110 and above
                       b.  CARICOM:  6 CSEC Subjects (2 Science, Mathematics, English) Grades I – III

                       c.  Commonwealth: 6 GSCE Subjects (2 Science, Mathematics, English) Grades 9 – 4 or equivalence
                       d.  Personal Essay – Why you want to study medicine?
               3.  2 Letters of Recommendation from medical or academic professionals who know of student interest in medicine.

            The following are requirements for enrollment into the Preclinical Sciences Program:


               1.  Undergraduate GPA with at least 2.7 from a recognized university or college; or GAU pre-medical student: GPA of
                   2.9 in the pre-medical sciences program with Premedical Committee Evaluation score of > 8; or MCAT score of
                   >500
               2.  Proof of any Medical experience and professional work history, volunteering experience will be an asset.
               3.  Personal Essay expressing your interest in studying medicine
               4.  Letters of Recommendation from medical or academic professionals who know of student interest in medicine
               5.  Students pre-selected will be invited for an interview. A successful interview automatically qualifies for entry into

                   the program.
