CHANGE CASE: There are times when we would like to change
the case of a block of text from lower to upper case or vice versa.
To do this:
1. Select the text.
2. On the Home tab, in the Font Group, click Change Case button
and select one of the options given below.
• Sentence case
• lower case
• UPPERCASE
• Capitalize Each Word
• tOGGLE cASE
CLIPBOARD GROUP
To select text: Place the cursor to the text we want to select.
Left-click the mouse, and while holding it down, drag the mouse
over the text to select and release the mouse button. A highlighted
box will appear over the selected text.
To copy and paste text: Select the text we want to copy. Click
the Copy command on the Home tab. Place the insertion point
where we want text to appear. Click the Paste command on the Home tab. The
text will appear at the desired location.
To cut and paste text: Select the text we want to copy. Click the Cut command
on the Home tab. Place the insertion point where we want the text to appear.
Click the Paste command on the Home tab. The text will appear at the desired
location.
SHORTCUT KEYS IN MS-WORD
[CTRL] + [X]: Cut
[CTRL] + [C]: Copy
[CTRL] + [V]: Paste
[CTRL] + [A]: Select the content of the entire document
[CTRL] + [P]: Print the document.
[CTRL] + [Z]: Undo.
[CTRL] + [Y]: Redo.
[SHIFT] + [F3]: Change Case.
