HEARTFELT GRATITUDE
TO ALINA
It has been a wonderful and amazing thing to see Sam
responsibly navigate recovery and adulthood for almost four
years now. Four years ago, he had reached the very fragile
edge of a perilous cliff; he called Alina and told them
he couldn’t do it on his own.
As a mother, I loved the family meetings. The drive to
Blairstown became a special kind of “my time” to be alone,
sort things through, and heal. I learned much about myself
as the parent of an addict. Sam’s Dad and I are
better parents for it.
Thank you, Bill, Donna, and all of the wise and
insightful people of Alina Lodge.
Especially, best wishes to Bill – no doubt
the wonderful staff, clinical programing, and
students will evolve and thrive within
Bill’s leadership and passion.
