Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

GOTS is an internationally recognized quality seal standard that assures care and respect for
the environment and workers involved throughout the textile production and supply chain.
GOTS focuses not only on the cultivation of the organic fibers, but also on the care and
respect of the environment and the reduction of the possible negative impact during all the
process. This includes all steps from cultivation up until de delivery of the articles, as well
as improving the working conditions of all those involved in the manufacturing process.

What does GOTS imply?
Its compliance entails specific requirements such as ecological cultivation, elimination of
prohibited chemical substances, consumption, waist and discharge reduction, fair wages
amongst many other details.
