this spectrum as well, with its own unique components. Jewish tradition, through
texts, culture, and theology, points clearly to both the risks and rewards of living a
life of laughter. Through the careful attention to the lessons contained within, may we
soon merit to see the day when laughter justifiably may fill our mouths.
