ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rajesh Khanna, MD is a pioneer in the field of Lasik, Prelex and
Refractive Surgery. He has operated on many of his family members,
staff members, physicians, and various celebrities. He has been
interviewed on various television and radio shows. Numerous
magazine and newspapers have featured him. He is a syndicated
column is about vision.
He was born and raised in India. Growing up there he saw a lot of
poverty and blindness. Those early days instilled in him a passion to
spread knowledge and eradicate vision related problems; this drove
him to become a doctor and specialize in the field of eyes.
Dr. Khanna did his medical training in the United States: Medical
Internship in Graduate Hospital, PA; Residency performed in Suny
Downstate, NY; Fellowship training in Corneal and Refractive surgery
at the University of Cincinnati, OH.
He practices in Beverly Hills, California, and is also on the
voluntary faculty of UCLA. Dr. Khanna is on the cutting-edge of
ophthalmic technology constantly developing new techniques. He also
devotes his spare time to charitable activities like helping the indigent
population with their eye care needs.
Dr. Khanna lives in Los Angeles with his wife and kids. He leads
an active lifestyle regularly playing in field hockey leagues. He also
swims, hikes, and plays tennis.
