Lean - down. Sit your back against the bar. Stretch your
legs out. Got to get that bullet before it gets infected.
(BASS takes picks up one of the torn RAGS from the BAR - a bottle of WHISKY and walks over towards GRANT)
GRANT
And how do you suppose you're going to do that?
(BASS retrieves a KNIFE from his side)
GRANT Have you ever done this before?
BASS
Plenty of times.
GRANT
Why do I get a feeling thats not the truth.
(GRANT stretches the wounded leg out. BASS leans to one knee - unwrapping the old RAG. He rips GRANT’S PANT’S leg open - revealing a bloody wound. He examines)
BASS
Didn’t expect your first ride with me to be this tough did
you.
GRANT
Didn’t expect it to be easy either. I’m learning.
Understanding patience is very important.
(BASS extends the BOTTLE to GRANT who takes a swig)
BASS
Hold still. This may sting a bit.
(BASS takes the BOTTLE from GRANT and then pours WHISKY on the bullet wound. GRANT squeamish. BASS wipes the excess liquid off)
