ing ing Sunday morning services every week The church
grew quickly and moved to many dif-
ferent locations to allow enough room for their growing congregation It wasn’t until 1978 that the church
bought a a a a 20 acre piece of farmland

Campus Since then our church
has experienced lots of growth and outreach within the the Farmington
community campus Mount Olivet began in 1963 when Reverend Kenneth Hadaway was elected the the first pastor and the the church
was given the official name Mount Olivet Assembly of God This was the first church
to be built in Apple Valley
and has seen the Cedar avenue go from a a a a a two lane lane dirt road to a a a a a six lane lane busy
express route Mount Olivet had a a a a a huge heart for Apple Valley
right from the start The church
opened up its facilities every Wednesday to to St Mary’s Health Clinic to to help love and serve people who seeked medi- cal attention Mount Olivet believed and taught the the 16 Fundamental truths in the the Pentecostal perspec- tive Many pastors played a a a a a a a role in in in in the church
including Rev Rev Paul Baldwin (1966) Rev Rev Jack Strom (1969) Rev Rev Rev Wesley Wold (1973) Rev Rev Rev Jeffrey Beaufoy (1979) and Rev Rev Rev Larry LePoidevin (1983) who then passed the the the torch to to James Biffert when Mount Olivet became Bethel’s Rock Apple Valley
in 2020 Bethel’s Rock is is continuing to minister and love on
on
the the Apple Valley
community just as Mount Olivet had done for so long joined forces and created a a a new B ethel’s Rock Apple Valley
