Look, we all know that A&B council has a few wee problems of its own to be getting on with for now, but really, if

it’s a matter of money or manpower – well, we’ll fundraise and do it ourselves. All we need is the nod.

Why does Argyll & Bute Council refuse to erect signage at the Tinker's Heart? Historic Environment Scotland

has scheduled it. Parliament petitions Committee support it, BBC Alba featured it, BBC Radio Scotland Out

of Doors featured it as one of their all-time favourite places to visit. The Media have highlighted it many

times. There have been weddings there. Piles of coinage signify its spiritual importance.

Many visitors cannot find the place and go away disappointed. It is said that the road is far too busy.

Well that means visitors will be careful - I mean who in their right mind would step in front of cars?

How many other places are accessible on busy roads?

It was 2015 when the Heart was scheduled so why is that we face another summer term without any
signage? Now what is so wrong with this beautiful place that those mentioned don't want to show it off as

an Argyll asset? We have come so far; why not go a little further? - Jess Smith.

So, how about it, A&B Council? Give us the nod and we’ll do it ourselves because, quite frankly, this on-going

     situation is ridiculous.
