PROJECT DETAILS
Vassar Brothers Hospital is a 315 bed voluntary hospital, which has
undertaken a major modernization and expansion project. Th e new West
Wing addition of 120,000 square feet includes thirty-eight LDRP Rooms,
a new surgical suite (including cardiac surgery), central sterile supply
and a new kitchen. Renovation of the existing hospital with enhanced
support programs such as the Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinic,
Pharmacy and M/S Bed Units.
In addition to the new West Wing and related alterations, a new Main
Lobby connected to a parking garage by a Pedestrian Bridge was built
to enhance and improve the hospitals ability to receive both patients
and visitors.
