» Provide enough soap and water for a minimum of three 20-second hand washes per worker per day or at least one sink for every three portable toilets.
» A minimum of twice-weekly service from your portable sanitation provider.
Jobsite Cleaning
Keeping a job site clean creates a safer jobsite. Common areas should be cleaned at least once per day and trash changed frequently, using proper PPE.
Disinfect work surfaces, equipment and frequently- touched areas including door handles, time clocks, machinery controls, etc., with EPA-approved disinfectants with claims against emerging viral pathogens.
Protect Your Workers
In conjunction with sanitation best practices, employers should be providing their workers with the proper PPE and enforcing social distancing on job sites. This includes:
» Avoiding in-person meetings
» Minimizing ride sharing
» Wearing masks over the nose and mouth to prevent the spread of COVID-19
By following these guidelines you are protecting the health of your workers, which results in protecting the health of your business.
