BUILDING CONNECTIONS
People often ask me what they can do to get more involved with
GSABA. The first thing I share is that you need to show up to grow your
network and community. This is your opportunity to build a network
of peers, become more connected, collaborate more, and align with
people in our industry.
I have been hosting Coffee with Kristi once a month for new members,
and the next one is scheduled for Friday, June 19th, from 9:00 am to
11:00 am. The new members who have attended have met GSABA
members in small groups and learned more about how they can get
involved in the Association. It has been great to see members make
connections within GSABA and share phone numbers and potential
client leads, too!
In June each year, we encourage our members to self-nominate for
the ballot to serve on the GSABA Board of Directors. Our membership
elects four builders and two associate members for three-year terms
annually. The commitment we ask of you as a Board member is to attend
the Board meetings each month, recruit two new members to GSABA,
and volunteer in some capacity during the year. There are many ways
you can serve our industry and GSABA. If you are interested in serving
on the Board of Directors, we encourage you to nominate yourself! You
will need to be the designated member on your GSABA membership.

Our calendar for the next few months is full of great networking
events. Come and network with President Brady, the Sr. Officers, and
the GSABA staff at one of our upcoming events.

We hope that you will consider ways to get
more involved. Our networking events are
where new relationships begin. GSABA has a
strong foundation, but we want to build on it, so
we are all more connected, more collaborative,
and more aligned.

in the 2026 Parade Style Magazine, consider
exhibiting in the Parade Exhibitor Tent (we are
70% sold out of booths), or volunteer to drive
a golf cart during our two-week Parade of
Homes, held Saturday, August 28th, through
