The Sunbelt Builders Show returns to San Antonio to celebrate
their 25th anniversary with a dynamite mix of education, exhibits,
and networking — and this year’s San Antonio location makes it a
great opportunity for GSABA members to attend. This year, I have
the privilege of co-chairing the Texas Association of Builders' 25th
Sunbelt Builders Show with Tiffany Acree, with StrucSure Home
Warranty
The Sunbelt Builders Show is more than an expo floor: it’s an
incredible resource for builders, contractors, remodelers, trade
partners, and suppliers who want practical solutions and new
revenue opportunities. The GSABA Leadership Team attends
every year, and we make the most of our membership recruitment
opportunities too!
Come and join Membership Chairs Mike Robare, Angela
Pencsak, and Dominick Alongi as we work the trade show floor. It
is a great opportunity for us to thank our sponsors and recruit new
members. If you are interested in being on a membership team
to exhibitors, sponsors, and potential sponsors on Wednesday

Here are a few helpful hints to make
the most of this regional trade show:
•
Plan your day: Use the program
review (https://online.flippingbook.com/
view/384496278/4/) to map sessions and
demos that match your current challenges
— estimating accuracy, code updates, labor
retention, or new material adoption.
•
Bring decision-makers and doers:
Send a mix of leadership (owners, project
managers, construction VP’s) and field staff
(foremen, lead installers). Don’t forget your
sales team!
•
Target product demos: Identify three
to five products or technologies you want to
evaluate. Schedule demos and take detailed
notes on pricing, compatibility, lead times,
and supplier support.
•
Network intentionally: Build a short
list of companies to meet. A few focused
conversations often produce more value than
dozens of casual exchanges.
