National Association of Home Builders
BUILD-PAC, NAHB’s bipartisan political arm, helps elect pro-housing, pro-business candidates to federal office and is critical to NAHB’s success on Capitol Hill. The housing industry is a key driver of the U.S. economy and construction of single-family and multifamily housing is designated an “Essential Infrastructure Business” by the Department of Homeland Security.

Our Strength is in Our Numbers
NAHB is an active participant on Capitol Hill and in the federal regulatory process, working hard to promote housing in America. Resolutions adopted by NAHB’s Leadership Council touch on key housing issues such as removing regulatory barriers to building affordable housing, protecting property rights, providing tax relief for small businesses, promoting smart growth, and assuring the U.S. housing finance system remains strong.
NAHB asked the White House to act on the several proposals to help the housing industry not only survive the COVID-19 economic disruption, but to be a force that emboldens our country to lead the world out of this pandemic era. The recommendations include Proposals to Address Immediate Housing Industry Needs and Proposals to Provide Critical Support to Housing Production. NAHB is championing several critical issues on our behalf.
