EAEP NOTES ON LITERATuRE
EAEP Notes on Literature are more of workbooks than conventional guidebooks. The books adopt an interactive approach to the study
of literature by directly involving the learner in analysing and evaluating the issues that have been highlighted in the work being assessed.
The books therefore give the student enough room to exercise his or her analytical skills; and also encourages sessions for debate and
discussion. The questions are in line with the requirements of the new method of teaching and examining literary questions in an integrated
manner, as per the aims and objectives of the revised English syllabus for secondary schools.

ORAL LITERATuRE
Oral Literature is an array of books that use an anthological approach to examine the various genres of oral literature both at a theoretical
level and at the analytical level. This anthology lays emphasis on the areas of definition, classification, style and themes. Riddles and
proverbs are analysed with as much detail as poems and narratives. The books are useful for both learners and teachers at secondary
schools, college level and especially for those undertaking undergraduate work.
