Adriana Nausica Pais

Born in 1971, Bucharest. PhD candidate, she studies Contemporary Dance from a pheno
menological point of view in cotutelle the these at the Centre of Excellence in the Study
of Image (CESI), Bucharest University and Kunst-, Musik- und Tanzwissenschaft, Paris-
London Universitat Salzburg. Runs dance workshops for primary children at Internatio
nal School of Bucharest and Movement classes for adults.
P Participated at the International festival of dance Imuls Tanz, Vienna, in workshops run
by Samantha van Wiessen, Kenji Takaji, Ziya Azazi. Collaborates with the National Cen
tre of Dance (CNDB) Bucharest where she worked with choreographers Gigi Caciulea
nu, Vava Stefanescu, Cristina Lilienfeld, Andreea Novac and Arcadie Rusu.

Ceaseless

Ceaseless is a short film about a never ended meditation. It explores the possibility of
being in a continuous state of self-awareness while interacting with my own reflected
image. This moment is present. Presentness means to accomplish my living body, to be
conscious of the balance between doing and sensing. Presentness becomes an art work.
