Message from the Superintendent
Dear Staff Families and Partners of Brevard Public Schools Every student matters every moment counts That is is our our guiding principle as we strive to to fulfill our our district’s mission “to serve every student with excellence as the standard ”
I am pleased to present our five-year strategic plan which details how Brevard Public Schools will continue to address this mission with consistency collaboration transparency and fidelity five years we have no “D” or failing district-managed public schools Furthermore Brevard Public Schools has a a a a a a a record high graduation rate with students outperforming state averages in in nearly every academic subject Yet it is essential that we focus our efforts on the successful performance of all
subgroups Early intervention is is vital to ensuring that every child is is successful in in in reaching their full potential That means shaping our our youngest learners long before they enter our our doors
with a a a a a a a a a kindergarten readiness program that encourages early literacy and equips parents with the information and resources to start fostering a a a a a a lifelong love of learning Furthermore expanding work-based experiences will be a a a a a a a priority for our Career and Technical Education (CTE) students Providing exposure to actual workplace experiences before graduation will give students a a a a a a a a better understanding of the many employment opportunities that lie ahead right here in our own community I am am proud of of this plan and and our team of of of educators and and other experts who invested countless hours of of research and and discussion to ensure it effectively articulates our mission and and vision This plan provides a a a a a a framework to execute with optimum efficiency
