Individuals and teams, participate alongside Special Olympics athletes to raise money by plunging into the chilled down, 66 degree wave pool to support the cause. There is no cost for plunging, but plungers are asked to fundraise a minimum of $100 by creating their own personal plunge webpage so friends, family and co- workers can donate online. Plungers who raise the minimum of $100 in donations, automatically get entry into Aquatica, the official Polar Plunge®
The Jupiter team raised a total of $1,695.
“To be able to participate in this event and support Special Olympics Florida is a blessing on so many levels,” said Sherie Troisi, principal. “The teachers and staff of Jupiter Elementary never cease to amaze me in their commitment not
only to their students but also to our surrounding community as well.”
