Administrative Procedure - Agency and Police Interviews
The Ill. Council of School Attorneys with participation from the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s
Office and Regional Superintendent of Schools developed Guidelines for Interviews of Students at
School by Law Enforcement Authorities to assist law enforcement authorities and school officials in
determining when it is appropriate for law enforcement authorities or the Ill. Dept. of Children and
Family Services to interview students while the students are at school or participating in school-
