There are many reasons to have chickens in your own
backyard but the one that resonates through my business
is to produce fresh food that is nutritious and natural.
Chickens in the backyard mean organic eggs right? Not
always. Chickens enjoy greens from the garden; however
they need access to a balanced feed for optimum egg
production. It was challenging to find feed that was
guaranteed to be free from the extra’s that nature
didn’t intend you know… pesticides, herbicides and extra
additives. It was of utmost importance to me to find a
quality product for my clients that was truly organic.
After much searching, I discovered “Country Heritage
Feeds”. Their feeds are Australian Certified Organic,
meaning they are grown, harvested, milled and mixed
using only natural methods. I am now able to supply
my customers feed for their chickens that are highly
nutritious and atural, giving them the knowledge that
what their chickens are eating will truly provide naturally
