16 April 2016
Ref: Mrs Michele Hillgarth & now Mitre House Management Limited
Thank you for your hand delivered letter dated 15 April 2016 in reply to my two unacknowledged, due to your pneumonia, letters of 1 April 2016 and 8 April 2016 [with comprehensive bundle of attachments hand delivered to your Hammersmith address on 8 April 2016 around 4.30pm ahead of your deadline]
As I’ve stated on your letter of 15 April 2016 [with comments attached] it does seem somewhat baffling that Mrs Hillgarth was not available nor obviously in close contact to have been capable of responding to either of my letters dated 1st and 8th April or more pertinently accepting our offer to courier over the requested invoices, if not to you whilst incapacitated, but indeed direct to her Bedford Gardens address.
No doubt you will reply that she was indeed also unavailable whilst in France. A problem we became very familiar with at times, and usually at times of increased urgency for comment or commitment.
I think it might be useful to list the financial concerns as stated in your letter of 23 March 2016, repeated somewhat in your letters of 29 March, 1 April and again 15 April as they are somewhat ludicrous in the light of information we have supplied to the contrary to date and still await the validity, or not, of same.
1a_MHML is unfit to manage Mitre House [nor indeed any property] and are requested to resign voluntarily by Friday 8 April 2016 and advise all lessees - [as you know we declined to do so].
1b_MHML is in law not permitted to be both principal and agent to the lessees at Mitre House - [we are awaiting clarification but we consider we are permitted to and can charge fees].
1c_As such, any fees charged to Lessees for managing to date [2012-2016] are required to be returned to lessees [totalling approx.£17,810 as per your 23 March letter] - [this we have declined to do to date].
1d_A majority of lessees do not agree and never agreed to the Internal decor and require it’s reinstatement at MHML’s cost immediately to Black or Dark Grey Lift (best advise or take vote for which?) and white and taupe on communal walls to replace the Caribbean Sunset as at present and the Bronze Lift. - [we do not recognise any valid majority and by your admittance of either black or grey for the lift doors does somewhat evidence our insistence of no consensus... on anything, let alone the required colour of lift doors].
