As for the external work plan the freeholder has I suggest we get perhaps an outside quotes I am not convinced we need to spend all that money.Apart from the electric and probably painting windows I cannot see the reason for more expenses .
Do you know anything about the roof ?

Thanks Michele - yes, I agree totally with getting our own price for the floor, it's a good idea, but we'll do that after the agent's have done the minimum required work (paint walls etc) - it's always in their interest to spend maximum as they take a percentage - anyway, so long as we all (you, Segar, Samya and I) all confirm to Julie Freeman that only the minimum work should be proceeded with (and get a revised quote for us to see), then all will be well - then, later, we can start with our own plans!
