Everybody has done exactly what you have kindly done which is to pay the full demanded September Quarter's Demands (£2650 which includes the £2000 additional contribution to the works budget)
Everybody has also paid the voluntary contributions for the Tank (£867.87) and the Communal TV Sky+hd install (£593), except Flat 9 who bizarrely haven't done so yet (the £593 for tv)
The reason it is called voluntary is because we are not going the long Section 20 route (4 months) and so long as all agree, everything is fine. If we delay, the cost of the tank will probably double as it needs scaffolding to get it up.
The tv install cannot be done without scaffolding.
The reimbursed business only was coming into play if we couldn't get agreement from all parties or if some lessees refused to pay their full Quarterly Demands - (as obviously people like you and me who had paid should get a refund if no one else was paying) but thankfully everybody decided to pay everything (and it's only Flat 9 who still have to pay for the tv £593 - but it doesn't matter if they don't as it will still go ahead leaving them with no tv or satellite cabling and no further access to the roof after Friday even if they change their mind or their present or future tenants wish to have tv or satellite -
All in all a very short sighted decision which I'm sure they'll change - hope so. Paul
