After joining the BBC, Christine Rawlins worked on a wide variety of programmes, from sit-coms and science fiction to modern and period dramas both in the UK and abroad, in countries as diverse and varied as Peru and Egypt. She won her BAFTA Best Costume Design Award for the highly acclaimed BBC drama serial Fortunes of War, the launch pad of many an international star, most notably Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. Since leaving the BBC she has continued to work the same broad scale in both features and television and is starting work on a new independently financed feature film production early in the new year.
