In a career as diverse as acting, producing and directing, Leonard White has 350 TV Drama produc- tions to his credit, including the now legendary Avengers series, where he is credited as the original producer. His producing credits also include the highly acclaimed and original television series of Armchair Theatre for seven years. Trained at both pro- ducing and directing in Canada at CBC in Toronto, he is also the recipient of an Emmy Award. His earlier acting career in London’s West End and New York gave him invaluable insight for handling actors. “I still firmly believe in television Drama being uniquely different from cinema and, although presently somewhat unfashionable, I am of the belief that one should support and strengthen these differences wherever possible.”
