WE ARE OMNISITE
“We are the way we are at OmniSite by contemplation, not by random chance.” says company Tom Ward.
In other words, a good deal of thought goes into virtually every process here, and it starts with the well-being of
our employees.
Earning his stripes in large corporations before starting his own company, Ward well understood
the downside of dreaded and ine ective business procedures.
He still remembers, as an employee, the sheer drudgery of one in particular – the annual performance review.
“In the workplace there should never be a surprise like: ‘Hey, Bob, it’s the end of the year, and we noticed you’ve been screwing up this whole time. Sorry, but you’re not going to get
a raise,’” Ward says with intentional sarcasm. “Nobody likes annual reviews.
I mean, did anyone ever look forward to a time, when they sat down with some old geezer, who’d proceed to tell them all the things they were doing wrong?”
In the same breath, Ward answers with a resounding no to his rhetorical question. His alternative to awkward
