EDITOR’S LETTER

What a hugely successful Friday we enjoyed at the Cultural Fair. I

did not have the opportunity to attend last year’s event, but this
year I did, and it was amazing. In fact, we had more spectators than

years before.

I’m very lucky to be part of a fantastic team, the BA. The organizers

and teachers worked incredibly hard to make sure the Cultural Fair

offered something to inspire everyone to learn a foreign language

and about the culture of each country. The diversity of performances

by language students covered traditional dances of each country,

music in the language they represented, among other things.

We also had performances by special guests, and students from the
bachelor’s degree. You can read about all the performances in our

magazine.

The students from ELT and teachers from the B.A. are so grateful to

everyone who contributed to this year’s Culture Fair – whether it was

to share your knowledge on a stand, or as a guest to soak up

everything on offer. Thank you for all the gratitude and the love you

shared. We love what we do, and it’s only made possible by you.

We have no doubt that next year’s Culture Fair will be even bigger

and better. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
