In summary I will itemize information and accomplishments of the year as follows:
BC = Before Covid
• There were 18 members in the choir.
• The choir rehearsed on Thursday nights from 7 – 8:30 in the Parlor. They sang Introits,
Offertories, Hymns and Anthems most Sundays.
• We went to Care One in December and rehearsed/performed for residents there including
Jeffry Bubar.
• We went to Rockridge before Christmas and sang for the residents there.
• There were occasional instrumental performers, either playing as soloists or
accompaniment to the choir. These included Cindy Naughten on flute, Steven Williams on
violin.
• The handbell choir consisted of 12 ringers. The bell choir performed twice: Children’s
Sunday in December and Christmas Eve. Abbie Stone assisted.
• There were several vocal soloists including Heather and Steven Williams, Autumn Tustin
and Andy Zane, Matthew Dalton and Sue Stone as well as other individual members of
the choir.
• The children’s choir sang once per month under the direction of Heather Williams.
• I met for team meetings on Tuesday mornings.
AC =After Covid
• The choir stopped rehearsing.
• All music for services was played live, recorded in the sanctuary, and posted as part of our
w
weekly services on youtube.
• The recordings are organized around various peoples’ schedules. They are not done on a
regular time-table.
• I have had recorder, violins, flute, piano, organ and individual singers performing on
various combinations.
