notlimitedto:transportationtoappointments,bene􏰁tsentitlementservices,housingasistance,medication managementeducation,groups,crisisservices,substanceusedisorderservices,academic/vocationalservices,andone ononecasemanagement.Referalsare􏰁rstprocesedthroughParoleOutpatientClinic(POC),approvedbythe SeniorPsychologist,andthenforwardedtoISMIPforoutreachandorintake.Weoperateasadropincenter,andwe
avetransportersgoouteverymorningtopickupclientsthatnedtransportationfordailyprogrammingandservices.
THISYEAR:
Forthe2019/2020􏰁scalyear,wereceived242referalsfrom theCDCR.Weservedatotalof240clients(unduplicated clientcount),housedapproximately30-60clientseachmonth,andhad19sucesfulcompletions. epopulationwe servearehomeles,mentalyil,andveryhardtolocatemosttimes.Manytimesduringthereferalproces,orevenwhile enroled,clientsabscond,arehospitalized,orplacedonaParoleviolationoftenduetomentalilnes

SUCCESSSTORY:
 isyearwehavefacedsomechalengesincluding􏰁ndingoutthattheGovernorapprovedfortheISMIPprogram tobeeliminatedfrom thebudget.However,wealsohadaCaliforniaStateauditthatfoundnoisuestoreport,
whichisgreatnewssinceweworksohardtomakeourprogram shine.Outofthe19sucesfulcompletions,one sucesrealystandsoutthisyear.Oneofourfemaleclientswasreleasedfrom prisonwithabsolutelyno resources.Wedidherintakeimmediatelyandalthoughshehadsomechalengesinthebeginning,shehasused thosechalengesas“steppingstones”tosuces.Sincebeinginourprogram,shehasremainedcleanandrecently
loymentthatalsoprovidesherfulbene􏰁ts.InherlatestconversationwithherISMIPCase Managershesharedhowhappysheistoputherpastbehindherandnowmoveinapositivedirection.Ourclient
hasde􏰁nitelyputherworkintoherrecoveryandstabilityandwewishheralthebestinhernewjourney.
