Surprises by Yara Yazigi
I love surprises, the pleasant ones of course..
Who doesn't? life isn't particularly generous in this
domain, so I indulge myself with small surprises which I create on
my own every now and then. I put small amounts of money in some
pockets of my clothing to ensure myself a delightful surprise when
found later, or drop some candy in handbags I carry to give myself a
special treat when discovered.
Needless to say that a small amount of money or a bar of candy
cheers me up like a small child, but I no doubt am looking forward to
a much more sophisticated surprise..
I have the feeling that the life we are living is nothing but a silly
joke, a disfigured shadow of the life we are all meant to live. I am on
my toes, waiting for life to jump from behind a door, wink at me and
announce the end of its show, pulling down the curtains on its farce,
letting through a new beaming dawn that will give birth to days
which look so much like the surprises I adore.
