             ollege  CEO  Neville  Carter  and  Bar  Council  Malaysia
         C  (BCM) president, Steven Thiru, signed a Memorandum of
         Understanding (MOU), on 21 September 2018, to collaborate
         on postgraduate legal education and
         training  for  the  17,000-member
         Malaysian legal profession.
         The first areas of collaboration are:
           A complementary CPD
            programme for Malaysian lawyers
            and pupils.
           Revising the BCM’s mandatory
            pre-admission Ethics and
            Professional Standards course.
                                         Bar Council Malaysia
           Developing LLM Applied Law
            subjects in Malaysian legal practice.
         President  Thiru  announced  the  MOU  to  300-plus  delegates
         who assembled for the BCM’s major biennial conference - the
         2016  International  Malaysia  Law  Conference  (IMLC),  held  in
         Kuala Lumpur on 21-23 September 2016. ▄▌
