HOW IS THE PROGRAM

STRUCTURED?

The program is structured as two subjects
comprising 15 units each. See page 6 for a full list of
units in each subject.

The College of Law International Legal
English & Professional Skills 1

This 15-unit subject focuses on developing
legal English communication skills and legal
professional skills in the context of
non-litigious transactions in commercial and
corporate practice.

i The legal English communication
skills focus is on improving reading
and writing skills to levels B1|C2 on
the Common European Framework
of Reference.

The College of Law International Legal
English & Professional Skills 2

This 15-unit subject focuses on developing
legal English communication skills and legal
professional skills in dispute resolution in the
context of commercial and corporate practice.

The legal English communication
i skills focus is on improving listening
and speaking skills to levels
B1|C2 on the Common European
Framework of Reference.

Once you have successfully completed a subject you
will receive a Certificate e.g. Certificate in Legal English &
Professionals Skills 1. You can also receive a certificate to
show that you have completed individual units.

undertake the assessments and the unit will count towards the subject.
