HOW IS THIS PROGRAMME DIFFERENT FROM
OTHER MASTER OF LAWS PROGRAMMES?
DEVELOPED IN COLLABORATION WITH BAR COUNCIL MALAYSIA
This postgraduate programme has been developed in collaboration with Bar Council Malaysia in recognition of the needs of
the Malaysian legal profession.
Bar Council Malaysia has provided support by identifying subject-matter experts to develop the programme. Students
will have access to the most current and authoritative materials for each subject.
APPLIED LAW FOCUS
Unlike other Master of Laws programmes, this programme is focused on legal practice. Students will learn the law as it
applies in legal practice and will be able to demonstrate practical knowledge in the specific subjects.
INTERACTIVE ONLINE LEARNING, SUPPORTED BY YOUR LECTURER
The Master of Laws (Applied Law) is a fully online programme and students can learn anywhere, any time and on any device
that suits them.
Students will have access to a range of interactive learning resources, and lecturers as and when needed. This Master
of Laws (Applied Law) programme is developed based on the successful learning model already accessed by more than
5,000 students each year.
MULTIPLE INTAKES EACH YEAR
There are four intakes each year so students have flexibility about when to join the programme for
specific subjects. This caters to individual work and personal circumstances, and focuses on the
student’s specific needs.
The coursework has been absolutely relevant to
my daily practice. The material that was provided to
us throughout the course is constantly being used
throughout my practice.
